In The Future....

I will continually be updating the galleries with new images, and I will probably be deleting some. I will be including other villages, towns and even cities as well.

For additional information on the Westerly area, the website of the Westerly Chamber of Commerce is an excellent resource. Also, the Local History & Genealogy Department of the Westerly Public Library has a complete archive of Seaside Topics. The articles to be found therein, which date back to 1904, are the absolute finest source of historical data I have found so far. Seaside Topics is one of the sources I rely on for the articles found in this site. Please visit the Article Index to read these authoritative works.

Finally,"Early Landholders of Watch Hill", by Reginald Peck; or "Westerly and It's Witnesses" are also very good.

A very nice official town site (sanctioned or created by the town's governing body, and usually having the tag "gov' or "org" in its title, is that of Longmeadow Massachusetts.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit to the Watch Hill Gallery™, and will come back often!

Admission is always free!

Thanks, Bob Lezinski
